Guns

Guns are usually misunderstood. Whenever the word gun is brought up, many people think "danger", "death", "kill", or anything related to those words. Guns allow owners to protect themselves. Either to scare off a scoundral or to defend him/herself or others. Guns don't represent as a killing machine. It sometimes represents "power". Gun owners sometimes have to change themselves to be fitted to carry a gun. They have to be more responsible, less careless, and control impulses that makes them go on killing rampages. This changes the owner into a more responsible citizen. Guns, in some cases, resemble "protection" or "security". Keeping a gun may help a person feel safe. So instead of worrying about a murderer or theif coming into the house, they can worry about other things. Its like a nightlight. The owner of the nightlight feels safer from the dark. And the owner of the gun feels safer from the killers. This website shows both pros and cons of having guns. http://www.howtodothings.com/sports-recreation/understand-the-pros-and-cons-of-gun-controlGuns are not always a bad thing. Guns don't kill people, people kill people.

  1. Yes, I agree that people choose to kill people, weapons don't kill people. So, that is the reason why we are deciding whether to ban weapons or not. We never said guns were bad but people use them in the wrong manner some times and that's why we need to decide.
