The conflict with the Tibetans and the Chinese government has been one of the most longest conflicts in the world and is nowhere near a resolution. The reason why this issue has been going on for a long time is because the Chinese government has different beliefs from the Tibetans. Right now, China wants their land that they marked as their territory many years ago. Maybe China should just let go of it because the Tibetans live there now. However, I do think that Tibetan and China should compromise over the land and sort out their differences. All China wants is what they reightfully claimed theirs and the Tibetans should give it to them and maybe get something in it for themselves.

Don't you think China is already big enough? It is wrong for China to want more while they have a lot. What if the U.S. wanted Mexico...that would be wrong since we are already a great country. If there is too much land to handle, it would be hard to govern.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you that Tibet should compromise with China, because they have been friendly together for many centuries and to think that different opinions causes them to turn on to each other (sort of) is kind of sad.
