We Should NOT Have a Ban of Weapons

There should not be a ban of personal weapons. Why? It goes against our second amendment. The second amendment says that we have the right to bear arms! That means we, the citizens of the U.S., have the option of holding a gun in our hands or not. If there was a ban of personal weapons, the Constitution needs to have a new amendment saying that the 2nd amendment is annulled.

The people who have the weapons, now, will have to give it up and won’t be able to use it for their own purposes. Imagine, ten years from now, we have no hold of any weapons, such as a gun. Then some random stranger comes in and demands $$$. You are sitting in your living room with nothing to use. What will happen??? If there was a gun near you at that time, you’d take it out and threaten the stranger to leave.

  1. What about the crimes some people commit when they wield guns?

  2. If, ten years from now, a random stranger came in and demanded money what would he threaten me with? If he doesn't have a weapon and I don't have a weapon then why should I be scared? He can't hurt me without a weapon so why the bother?

  3. @karen: kitchen knifes are sharp enough to butcher animals and vegetables as well as humans. Bare hands and feet can also do severe damage too. By the way, when they say weapons, kitchen knifes could be considered personal weapons too.
So if there were a ban on personal weapon...what would happen to our kitchen cutlery and utensils?
