Week 10 :)

It is week ten already! Wow, time goes by so fast! Anyways, during my time in Debate class, I learned many new ways to express my feelings. Out of all the activities I've done in these weeks, my favorite is when we debated on the media ratings for I believed I did a pretty good job on it. :] Also, i enjoyed doing my informative speech where compared to my persuasive speech, it was way better. However, I did not really enjoy listening to the news in the early morning, but the benefit of it is that I started to read more articles on the newspaper and the news online to find out more interesting things that happen around the world. So, I can't wait for any future chances to debate! Have a nice year everyone!

WEEK 9:

During this semester, I really enjoyed listening as well as participating in debates. It helped improve my listening and speaking skills a lot. A lot of things were humorous during the debates and the subjects were sometimes difficult, but they were all very interesting. Everyone expressed a lot of interesting points and ideas which made the class enjoyable. On the other hand however, I didn't find the formal speeches as fun as debating because I didnt really have enough ideas that interested me.

My favorite activity

My favorite activity is when we debate with each other because everyone is laughing and we all have fun while we debate. There is no fighting at all when people lose, so that is my favorite activity. My least favorite activity is nothing because all the activity i did was really fun. You are a good teacher Miss Krissy and you made it a lot of fun for me, so thank you!

Week 9 :) contd.

New Wave of Iranians Seek U.S. Studies

Iranians are starting to seek U.S studies because they believe that the U.S has superior schools and generous research finances. They think that their education would put them in the best jobs when they return home. Personally, I think that they are right to come to America to learn more. America is a free country and English is a language that is known internationally.
