The relief efforts for the flood in Pakistan are poor due to the loss of roads and railways. Occasionally, helicopters can deliver food, but officials use donkeys most of the time. Enraged survivors physically attack government officials and soldiers. AT least 1600 people are dead in the worst deluge in 80 years.
