President of Pakistan tries to ease the anger about the flood

President Zardari recently met with victims of the catastrophic flooding in Sukkur in the Sindh province. He promises that he will rebuild homes. Unfortunately, some people say that this is too little, too late, and there are still people angry about the fact that he did not cut short his European tour to deal with the crisis. Even with a "shipload" of us marines and helicopters, the floods have already affected 14 million people while leaving 1,600 people dead......at least. While visiting the victims the president distributed foods and relief goods among the families while trying to reassure them that the government was ready to improve the situation as soon as possible. Yet critics say the if he IS the president of Pakistan then he should act like it. Osama Sadoon Memon said that President Zardari should have been there weeks ago rather than sitting in luxurious hotels......enjoying cocktails. BBC NEWS
